Presented is a lovely 14 karat gold and garnet hinged bangle bracelet. This
is an American piece, dating to around the 1970s-1980s. The bracelet is prong
set with 13 oval cut garnets, with appealing rich red color. The garnets are
about 15 points each in size, for a total weight of 195 points, just shy of 2
carats. The sides of the bracelet and the parts of the front without garnets has
a brickwork texture. The bracelet is hinged and closes with a tab insert
style clasp, with a safety latch on one side.

The bracelet is in great overall condition. The clasp is missing one of the
safety latches from the side, but the other latch and the clasp itself are in
good working order and close securely. The garnets are well set, with no
chips.

The bracelet is stamped and guaranteed 14k.

The bracelet has an interior circumference of about 6 3/4 inches.

The bracelet weighs 13.1 grams.
